Our company CENA A.S., which was founded by Cengiz Balik in 1989 as a sole proprietorship became a corporation in 1992.
CENA posseses it´s owns fruit processing, packing and storage facilities equipped with state-of-the-art machinery in Alasehir province of Manisa city and in Koycegiz/Beyobasi province of Mugla city. Former has closed area of 8.500 sqm built in 32.000 sqm land while the latter has 4.500 sqm closed area built on 38.000 sqm land and it is used for citrus fruits, pomegranates and vegetables. Cumulative cold storage capacity for the two facilities is 3.500 tonnes.
All our processing, packing and cold storage investments are located in the middle of fruit and vegetable production regions in order to provide both our customers as well as farmers with the most economic and quality service possible.
We serve very many multiples in several European countries including Germany where we have our branch office, UK, Austria, Russian Federation and Ukraine. Last season fresh grapes exports exceeded 5000 tonnes and the exports of cherries approached the volume of 2000 tonnes. For fresh black figs 350 tonnes, for pomegranates 500 tonnes and for apricots 300 tonnes of exports were realized.
